Height - the ideal height for your monitor is when your eye level is just below the top of the screen. Tilting your head backward or forward can cause neck strain.
Distance - as a general rule, the length of your arm is roughly the distance you want between your eyes and the monitor. This will mean you do not have to crane your neck forward and will help to avoid neck and eye strain.

Great monitor arms, they keep the cables from the screens nicely hidden and the desk looks so much tidier now. It did take me a few goes to get the positioning of the base correct (note: off centre) on the small desk I have but once I got them set up it was perfect.
The brackets are easy to install and stay in place depending on the adjustments you choose. Wire passers are also very effective. I love the desk space that 2 monitor arms (laptop and monitor) created!

Using the Desky Dual Slim Aluminium Monitor Arm to mount a 34inch screen and a 27inch screen. Both are held on strongly and experience no sag. Cable management runs on the arms can be tricky but workable in the end.
