Construction of this plate is simple but well made. Thick powder coat and rubber where it’s needed so you don’t scratch your monitor. Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking.
It had been awhile since I replaced my IMac for a new model. (8 years, to be exact). Somewhere during that time, Apple changed the design, so my old arm adapter wouldn’t fit my new one. Thank goodness I did a Google search for a solution that would fit both my 15 year old Ergotron arm and my shiny new IMac. That’s how I found Desky, and with it, the correct mount was just a click away. I installed it myself, but I would recommend grabbing a helper if possible to make the job a bit easier. Overall, I’m very happy with everything, and thanks to Desky for sending it out so fast!

I have two Apple Studio Displays with tilt stands that I wanted to install on monitor arms with a VESA adapter. The downfall of these displays is that the stand is not removable and you are unable to use a standard VESA mount unless you buy the displays with the VESA adapter initially.
After a long search I came across this VESA adapter and decided to take a chance. It is advertised for the iMac, but it works with the Apple Studio Display. The only thing is that the power cable will not fit through the hole of the adapter. This is not a problem since I was able to route my power cable through the monitor arm instead.
The adapter is well made, feels heavy duty & I don't have any concerns about moving the monitors around as I need them.
I now have my iMac off my desk.
Not having to go through the Apple hoop of changing the leg on the unit.
We can now easily swing it to where needed.

The Desky VESA adapter is affordable and sturdy and easy enough to put in place. I really like its streamline appearance but STABILITY is the best point.✅ I have no qualms about moving it around with my iMac attached, even up out of the way, or into portrait position.
