Our custom made laminate desktops come in a range of high quality and market leading thickness options. At 1" in thickness, your desktop can handle all the accessories you need.
Our grommet desktops offer an additional method to adjust your cable management with top side openings designed for convenient cable placement. These 80mm channels are strategically positioned just inside the legs of your Desky Minimal Monitor Stand, and purposely designed so your cables drop directly into the Desky Integrated Cable & Power Channel located beneath the desktop. This precision alignment ensures a smooth vertical drop for all your monitor and peripheral wires, keeping them tucked away and out of sight to eliminate visual clutter.
To maintain a seamless minimalist look, we provide black grommets for dark desktops and white grommets for lighter desktop finishes. The grommets feature a clever shutter to protect your cables from fraying and can be closed entirely when not in use to keep your workspace tidy. Whether you prefer a completely solid desktop or the added flexibility of grommets, both options fully integrate with the Desky power and accessory ecosystem.
A scalloped desktop isn't just a design flourish, it's a functional upgrade. That subtle rear curve creates a natural channel for monitor arms and cables to pass through, keeping your setup tidy and obstruction-free.

Pre-drilled holes: Desky’s melamine desktop comes with precision drilled holes to assist in an easy and quick assembly. The holes align perfectly with our frame and allow the user to simply attach the desktop without any power tools.
Laminated Top and Bottom: Our melamine desktops use only the best materials with a high-pressure laminate coating on the top and bottom. This provides full protection to your daily use and is a durable material that is considered industry standard within any office.
Medium-density particle board (MDF) Core: is an engineered wood product commonly used in every household and office environment. It is a process of breaking down hardwood/softwood chips that are combined using wax and a resin binder and formed into panels by applying high temperature and pressure.
ABS Edging: The desktop edges are then sealed using 2mm ABS edge tape that protects the core material that makes up the leading 25mm thickness. The edge tape is specifically matched to the desktop finish meaning you will always have a clean consistent aesthetic throughout the desktop.
Green Tag Certification: Desky supports responsible forest management and is committed to producing quality products from quality materials that are backed by globally recognised certifications. Global GreenTag is a Product Sustainability Certification, Product Health and Environmental Product Declaration Program Operator relevant to all of the major green building rating tools in the world (FSC, PEFC, Responsible Wood).
