Resin River: Our Desky River wooden desks starts with the hardwood. Hardwoods like Pheasantwood, Ash, and Walnut are often used for this type of desk because they are relatively easy to work with and can be manipulated into any shape you desire. The next step is to add the resin. The resin helps to bind the hardwood pieces together and create a seamless, solid surface. Resin is also great for giving the desk a unique look and river like appearance.
Precision Slots: Desky is proactively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 25mm desktop thickness. The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.

Nos bureaux en bois durs sont fabriqués à 100% en bois massif et sont conçus pour durer. La surface est plus épaisse que la plupart des plateaux de bureau (1 pouce) et des renforts métalliques y sont intégrés afin d'éviter tout affaissement sous charge et sur de grandes longueurs.
Les bureaux en bois massif sont trĂšs durables et durcissent mĂȘme avec le temps. Cependant, comme il s'agit de bois vĂ©ritable, ils sont toujours susceptibles d'ĂȘtre rayĂ©s et cabossĂ©s, mais ce n'est pas toujours une mauvaise chose car cela peut renforcer le caractĂšre du bureau au fil du temps ! Absolutely love my new Desky desk. I'm a coastal engineer, and was going for a coastal theme. Not only does the look of this desk fit my them, but the quality of the desk itself is amazing.

I was nervous ordering something online, as most products today are cheaply made by shell companies. I debated n getting a cheaper version of this desk at IKEA. However, I am happy I went with Desky. The quality exceeded my expectations. Everything is really heavy and well made. The screws and holes line up perfectly and are easy to thread. The instructional video made putting the desk together a breeze! I did it myself. I only needed help bringing in the 70 inch wood top, and flipping the desk over at the very end of assembly (I am a small female). The walnut top is smooth and luxurious and beautiful. I could not have asked for a better desk. Worth every dollar. I love the child lock option, as the first thing my toddlers did was start pushing the buttons to change my desk height, lol. My only suggestion for improvement would be to increase the optional power plugs under the desk (I bought the max of 3 power centers but I still need a few more plug slots) and adding in an option to light the underside of the desk, which I did with an led strip light, it provides a subtle glow through the resin which looks amazing.
Just started a new job and have been tracking this desk for a long time and just bought it as a gift to myself. What a beautiful desk! I bought a white one for my daughterâs room this week too!
I love my new Desky. It was hard to tell the way it would look from the photos but I really liked the walnut. It came as expected with no damage.
