Our Walnut wood comes from America, along with Red oak and White oak, White ash is sourced from France and White Oak is also sometimes sourced from Germany. We also utilize Teak wood and Saman from Laos, finally Pheasantwood from Vietnam.

Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness.
This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is pro actively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 1" desktop thickness.
The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.

All of our Pheasantwood desktops have a unique front and back 'Live' edge. This means that no two desktops are the same and each edge will have the characteristic undulations of the natural shape of the timber slab it was cut from.

I assembled my new Desky today, and I love it already. The Pheasantwood top looks fantastic and the build quality is amazing. It's rock-solid, even in the standing position (as in the attached photo). Raising and lowering are smooth and exceptionally quiet. I added the cable management tray with two power strips, and after setting it all up I can say that I would never buy one without them; they are one of the best things about this desk, allowing me to hide all cables except one power and one ethernet. I bought a 3rd-party under-desk mount for my Mac Studio, making the solution even better (Desky, you should offer one of these; I'd have bought yours if there were one to buy).
Assembly was as simple as advertised, but there are a couple of things to be aware of before beginning. First, this 72-inch desk is *heavy*; the Pheasantwood top weighs in at 82 pounds, the legs, rails, and cable management system add another 50-60, so in the end you're dealing with a 130-140 pound beast when fully assembled. I didn't have any help available and wound up doing it all myself, including muscling all the boxes to the 2nd floor of my house. It was a bit of a back-breaker, but worth it in the end. Second, there is enough excess in some of the supplied cables that the included cable ties weren't long enough to contain them. If you don't have any tie-wraps on hand, stop by a hardware store and get some before beginning.

Honestly, I wasnât expecting anything crazy until I got the desk. It was wrapped beautifully and overall fairly simple to set up. I work from home three days out of the week and this has been one of the best investments Iâve ever made. I also got the upper Monitor display and that was totally worth the extra money. One of the best purchases Iâve made for a desk. Highly recommend.
Love the feel of the hardwood desk surface, and the fact that there is NO cable clutter under the desk. I also ordered wheels, which means that if I need to reposition the desk for doing video, it's super-simple.

Very easy to assemble, responsive and quick sit stand motors. The pheasantwood top adds character and difference as the front edge is unique and very cool to admire during the long work days.. I have added some audio gear racks from another company to the top and the blend very well
So happy with our Desky purchase! We were surprised how quickly it was delivered to us in WA. Great quality components, and assembly was pretty easy, with all the holes lining up (not like other items we have had!!!).
It's expensive, but it's great, and as someone who sits at the computer all day a good desk is essential.
I am so impressed with the desk. The electronic height control was just what I was looking for. It was delivered under a week and I was very impressed with how it was packaged for delivery.
