Barre lumineuse pour écran Desky

I was on the fence about whether to get the Desky light bar on sale or splurge on the BenQ Halo 2. I ended up going with Desky and I'm satisfied with my purchase, but do want to highlight some design areas where they can improve if they ever release a new model.

Pros:

+Solid construction, mix of metal and plastic

+Clamp seems similar to BenQ light bars and should fit most monitors

+Has a front and back light

+Padded to protect your monitor

+Remote is wireless, easy to connect, and the buttons are intuitive and give easy access to key features

Cons:

-I think there's some light that does hit the monitor screen, but it's not too distracting. You can try to rotate the light bar to minimize glare, but then the LEDs will be more noticeable for your eyes

-I wish the back light covered more area behind the screen

- Depending on your monitor bezel, the front of the light bar mount may cover a small part of your screen

-Remote buttons are indented on a black surface, which makes it kind of hard to see what you're pressing if the room is dark or the remote is in a dark corner of the desk. Because they're indented rather than raised, they're also hard to find by touch. I hope Desky considers using more visible or physical buttons if they ever release a redesign.

Desky's monitor light bar has been a great addition, allowing me to easily adjust the lighting on my desk throughout the day (no more letting the daylight fade and being too focused to leave the desk to turn a light on) and keeping my desk space free from clutter. I appreciate the multiple tones and brightness levels, and it feels sturdy attached to my monitor. One thing to consider though, is whether you'll be able to reach a USB port with the supplied cord (they advise not using a different one) from where you want to position the light. For me I found it worked on one of my external monitors but not the other, just based on where their USB ports are positioned.

Desky’s light bar is exactly the solution I was looking for. It’s really easy to use with the remote control and fits perfectly on my monitor for my dual monitor set up.

When I’m working at night or early mornings, I need some kind of light source and this perfect illuminates my space.

It's exactly as described, very easy to set up and it doesn't need to be attached to my computer for it to be functional. I use it a lot during rainy days when the lighting is not great or when I'm gaming at night.

Great for easing the eye strain with the lights off, and keeping your workspace illuminated.

I feel like the back lights need to be a bit brighter, and the ability to modify the front and back light brightness independently would make this a 5 star

I like the fact that I get to choose from three different light colors to light up my desk. The LED lamp is of high quality and the material the lap is made of is high end as well. The multicolor backlight seemed superfluous at the beginning but turned out to add a nice little touch to the desk room.

I have had this monitor light for about 2 months now and it's really amazing. I don't use my room lights anymore. It's so easy to use. The monitor control box just works well and looks very elegant on the table. Overall really happy with this product.
