Our grommet desktops offer an additional method to adjust your cable management with top side openings designed for convenient cable placement. These 80mm channels are strategically positioned just inside the legs of your Desky Minimal Monitor Stand, and purposely designed so your cables drop directly into the Desky Integrated Cable & Power Channel located beneath the desktop. This precision alignment ensures a smooth vertical drop for all your monitor and peripheral wires, keeping them tucked away and out of sight to eliminate visual clutter.
To maintain a seamless minimalist look, we provide black grommets for dark desktops and white grommets for lighter desktop finishes. The grommets feature a clever shutter to protect your cables from fraying and can be closed entirely when not in use to keep your workspace tidy. Whether you prefer a completely solid desktop or the added flexibility of grommets, both options fully integrate with the Desky power and accessory ecosystem.

No more tangled cords jutting out the back. No more awkward gaps between your desk and the wall. Just clean lines, smart space use, and total freedom to place your desk flush against a wall or seamlessly back-to-back with another.
Pre-drilled holes: Desky’s melamine desktop comes with precision drilled holes to assist in an easy and quick assembly. The holes align perfectly with our frame and allow the user to simply attach the desktop without any power tools.
Laminated Top and Bottom: Our melamine desktops use only the best materials with a high-pressure laminate coating on the top and bottom. This provides full protection to your daily use and is a durable material that is considered industry standard within any office.
Medium-density particle board (MDF) Core: is an engineered wood product commonly used in every household and office environment. It is a process of breaking down hardwood/softwood chips that are combined using wax and a resin binder and formed into panels by applying high temperature and pressure.
ABS Edging: The desktop edges are then sealed using 2mm ABS edge tape that protects the core material that makes up the leading 25mm thickness. The edge tape is specifically matched to the desktop finish meaning you will always have a clean consistent aesthetic throughout the desktop.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.

No. The Desky Zero Fixed Office Desk is purely a fixed frame office desk. It is designed with the same great stability and aesthetics as our Desky Dual Desk minus the motors and electrics.

Unfortunately Ergo Edges are not available for these desktops but we do have specific desktops available with Ergo Edges in a number of colours and finishes.
Yes, we offer this frame in 4 colours: white, matte black, grey, and space grey.
Yes, our Melamine desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, simply just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
We can cut and fit cable access holes with grommets/hole covers in the positions you require to allow easy cable access. Please contact us via the Contact page or email help@desky.ca directly so we can help organise for your desk. This may incur extra time to process your order.
We also have a range of cable management solutions in our Accessories section to organise and tidy cabling and provide a place to install under desk power solutions. We also have on desk power options to make your desk as functional as possible.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each Melamine desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.

Our M8 Caster Wheels are compatible with our Zero Office Desk Frame.
Keep in mind that adding wheels will increase the minimum sitting height to around 3". This may be quite uncomfortable so we recommend our dual-motor system that has a better height range.
