You can use a laptop as a monitor by connecting it to another device using software solutions like Miracast or remote desktop applications. Very Sturdy and strong. Has rubber pads on the bottom and where the laptop sits which is a very nice touch.
Sturdy and high-quality laptop riser. It holds well and isn't flimsy like others I've used. It reaches a good height so my laptop screen can be aligned with my monitor, for good ergonomic positioning. Really glad I added this onto my Desky purchase, to complete my work-from-home setup.
This stand impressed me immediately out of the box. the tension holds the laptop and stays put! feels like a real high quality product.
There is a notch (finger recess) on the front of the stand to assist in opening the laptop lid. it was surprising to see that it wasn't carved out enough to accommodate my 2021 MacBook Pro.

The laptop stand riser is very sturdy and allows me to bring the laptop screen to the same height as my desktop monitor. The cutaways allow for airflow so it doesn't overheat, and I'm appreciating the space underneath- great for storing peripherals.
