The weight limit will depend on the weight limit of the monitor arm that you are using to attach the laptop arm mount.

Height - the ideal height for your monitor is when your eye level is just below the top of the screen. Tilting your head backward or forward can cause neck strain.
Distance - As a general rule, the length of your arm is roughly the distance you want between your eyes and the monitor. This will mean you do not have to crane your neck forward and will help to avoid neck and eye strain.
Very effective and solid support. Allows you to properly adjust the height to combine the laptop screen with the monitor. The only negative point was the assembly, the tightening screws are difficult to screw in because of the black paint on the support. Otherwise the support is very good.
Does the job, and materials are very premium and sturdy. Could fit a little tighter to the MacBook Pro but it's not a big deal

The mount enables a clean desk. Period. I bought a Desky Dual Monitor Arm, and this allows me to keep my 32-inch monitor and Laptop (14-inch Apple Macbook Pro) off my desk, sitting side-by-side in the configuration I prefer. It’s perfect.
It keeps my laptop safe and it’s easy to move the laptop in and out.
