Using a Desky Balance Board comes with a bunch of perks:
* Better Posture: It gets your core and legs working to keep you steady, which naturally helps you stand up straighter.
* Stronger Core: All those little balance shifts give your core muscles a sneaky workout without you even noticing.
* More Focus: The light movement can actually help you stay more alert and dialed in while you work.
* Less Tiredness: Keeping your body moving a bit helps with circulation, so you’re less likely to feel stiff or worn out from standing too long.
* Eases Aches: The gentle rocking takes pressure off your joints and keeps your muscles active, which can help cut down on soreness.
* Burns a Few Extra Calories: It’s not a workout, but those tiny movements do burn more calories than just standing still.
Yes! The board works well on most floor types. It’s got a non-slip base that grips nicely on hard floors like wood, tile, or concrete, and even on low-pile carpet. That said, for the best stability, it’s ideal to use it on a flat, hard surface.
Beginners would likely find wobble boards easier to handle, while those with existing lower body issues may need to approach balance boards with caution. Wobble boards can serve a dual purpose in your fitness regime and physiotherapy, even offering a boost in your weight loss journey. Both tools aim to improve your balance, coordination, and core strength.
I bought the balance board because my feet were getting tired after several hours standing up at the desk, and it’s perfect, it doesn’t take much space, and my feet don’t hurt anymore!
Makes such a difference to being able to use the standing desk for more than 10 minutes at a time.
It has a gentle roll from side to side which gives some nice movement. However this does result in it sliding on my carpet, even with some gripping material beneath it.
So smooth and elegant
The perfect add-on to my desk. It's fun, stable and make it easy to work at the same time!
Four stars (can I give 4,5) just because I would like the plank to be a bit wider.
Unexpectedly really fun to use. Not so rocky it takes you off task, and not so easy that it’s boring, I really don’t want to stand flat anymore. Didn’t think the board would entice me to stand more but it really is enjoyable; makes it easy to do calf raises, or just gently sway side to side while working. Materials are heavy duty though I would prefer wood and latex in a future version.
Overall, I’m having a great experience using the board. The foam is not too soft and not too firm. Using it helps me avoid numbness in my legs. The construction of the board is very sturdy as well.
Balance board comes in handy while standing, I find my legs don’t get so fatigued when using . I use it every time I stand and don’t realize how long I have been standing. Very happy with this purchase.
An absolutely fantastic desk! I’ve had my Desky desk for 6 weeks now and it has completely changed my work-from-home experience. Great quality and easy to use. Highly recommend!
Desky were extremely efficient in processing my order, and I was thrilled once I received the Desky Chair and balance board. The balance board is great for standing at my desk and keeping core muscles engaged. Really helps post back surgery.
Super happy with my new set up. Easy to assemble, arrived really quickly. Great quality, looks awesome and no more sore hips from sitting!
I need a compact, good looking and sturdy sit/stand desk for my apartment. I did some research online and decided to buy desky dual mini sit stand desk with cable management.
I also ordered desky dual arm to hang my monitor and laptop on it.
Package arrived in a weeks time and setup was simple. I am using the desk for more than 6 months now and I am satisfied with my purchase. Initially I thought of buying cheaper products available on amazon. Thank god I ended up buying a bit expensive but quality product.
No issue with desk. Sit/stand mechanism works flawlessly and monitor arm is nicely holding my monitor and the arm joints or angle where it moves are remains horizontally to the desk line which enables me to put my desk as close to the wall as possible.
Recently I purchased balancing board. It soft under your feet, doesnt give cheap plastic feeling. Balance movement are controlled. Its sturdy and so far doing the job perfectly.
Genuinely love this product, once I got used to standing at a Desk all day, I found it's hard to stay in the same position for too long. This small board has transformed my day, I now get an extra 2-4 hours of standing in with this. It's not hard to balance on as the design is perfect for every user with a reasonably flat bottom and enough angle to wobble around. Absolutely recommended, I've even gone ahead and purchased some for friends as a gift for their standing desk.
It’s exactly how it’s described on the website! Great quality and very fun. Wish I ordered it for my standing desk sooner.
